Well everybody, posting on my blog has produced quite the "slim pickin's" lately, hasn't it? To my surprise, I've been writing A LOT...but these thoughts never get finished, so they're slid into the drafts folder to await completion. sigh Nevertheless, I'm sure that I'll rustle up that dose of motivation someday soon, and then ya'll will be able to see what's been going on in my life these past few weeks.

So while you're patiently waiting[at least, I hope you're being patient! :) ] here's a little humorous...though slightly embarrassing story to amuse you:
The fact is well-known that I have a terrible time hearing my alarm clock in the morning. My precious roommate, Julie, can attest to this as she has pounded on my door many a morning, wondering why this sleeping beauty has not yet risen.
Anyway, early one morning my alarm clock began its abnoxious ding-ding-ing, signaling my need to wake up. Problem was, that I - the only one who was supposed to hear it - was the only one who didn't...consciously, anyway. On and on it went, until my Mom finally came into the bedroom to see why on earth I had not shut the awful contraption off. And what awaited her was definitely something to laugh about! Somehow I had managed to knock the alarm clock onto the floor, and proceeded to hang out over the edge of the bed, slamming the alarm clock with my pillow for all I was worth.
Mom managed to wake me up, and needless to say, I felt pretty sheepish about what had just happened!

Hahaha! That's so cute :D. So totally Courtney too... Only one time it was I she thought was the alarm clock!!!
Very funny story! :) The buzz of an alarm clock is one of the worst sounds on the planet, I think.
Thanks so much for commenting on my blog. (It is so fun to read comments.) I've stopped by your blog before; I think I found it through Brittleigh's. I can tell from your posts that you enjoy writing, like I do. You are also very good at it. :)
I see that you live in Eau Claire, WI. My family lived in Manitowoc for 11 years, and I miss living there. Now we are chruch planters near Kansas City, Kansas.
I'll keep checking your blog often!
What a funny embarassing story! Thanks for sharing it, even though it was embarassing! :-)
(I'm Micah's sister by the way :-)
