Have You Been With Jesus Today?

All day long I have been with Jesus.

It has been a wonderful day!
I have climbed up one step higher
In the good 'ole Gospel way.

I have spoken words of kindness.
Lord, You know if I have done wrong.
I will go and make it right
So I can testify tonight...
I've been with Jesus all day long!

This is an old chorus that finds itself bubbling out of my lips every now and then. :D Sometimes I just have so much joy in my heart knowing that...Jesus is my Saviour...He's always with me...and His salvation, joy, and peace are mine...that I feel like shouting it for all the world to hear!

Fellow Christians, the God we serve is a Living God! Not one made of wood or of stone, but a Living God that moves, speaks, and creates. He cares about each of our needs. And that alone is something that I have a hard time fathoming. I mean, I can't even go into the grocery store and remember what 5 things I was supposed to buy, so having a God that knows everything about me and everyone else all at the same time is just way too amazing!

Do you ever sit down and try to think about God? I mean, really think about God, now. His love, gentleness, goodness, mercy...surely I cannot comprehend it. But we have faith. And we have experienced Him enough so that we can hold fast to the assurance of His divine existence.

So, my dear reader-friend...hold fast. God is with you today! Put your hand in His and enjoy whatever you find in life's pathway, and when you're reflecting at the day's end, I'm sure you'll find that indeed you do have much to rejoice about.
